Clinical Pharmacy Council (CPC) with the objective to Support, Promote, Strengthen, and Develop the Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Care Practitioners through a Standard Recognition in the form of Membership Registrations and Decolonising them throughout the country (India).
Pharmacy profession comprising the Hospital and Clinical pharmacy sectors are undergoing rapid changes in India. Clinical Pharmacy Practice sector need skilled Pharmacy professionals, who can face global challenges and compete with multi nationals. Pharmaceutical Care Practitioners need a standard professional recognition promotion and support to prove themselves as a patient centric health care providers. The Pharmacist is no longer a mere dispenser of drugs. But has assumed a more clinical role in Therapeutic Drug, Disease Monitoring and Management and as overall Health Care Provider.
We realized that to Strengthen and Upgrade the Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Patient Care Education and Practice in India, need to competent Clinical Pharmacists Force, which is able to meet the growing demands for the advanced Health Care in India.
Today, a need has been felt on the Imperative for transparency, accountability and accessibility in order to establish Public and Physicians trust in Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Care Practitioners and their Services in India. This would be feasible if all Clinical Pharmacists and Patient Centric Pharmaceutical Care Practitioners are associated on a single stage. Clinical Pharmacy Council is providing that opportunity.
Clinical Pharmacy Council provides a standard
recognition to the Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Care Practitioners,
which so as will ensure Transparency, Accountability, and Accessibility in
Clinical Pharmacy Services of Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Care
Services of Advanced Pharmacists . By disclosing all Results or / and Interventions
of Clinical Pharmacy Practices and Pharmaceutical Care Practices, Public
confidence in Clinical Pharmacists in likely to be enhanced.
As a step towards the directions, Clinical Pharmacy Council (CPC) to Recognize Indian Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Care Pharmacists by the Process of Membership Registration and so as to strengthen & upgrade the Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care Practices in India.

Types of Registrations & Eligibility:
1. Clinical
Pharmacy Practitoner (CPP) Member:
Eligibility: Any Pharm.D / Pharm.D (PB)
with a valid registration as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in
any State Pharmacy Council under Pharmacy Act 1948.
Registration
Fees: INR 2600/- only (It’s Life Time Payment)
2. Pharmaceutical Care Practitioner (PCP)
Member:
Eligibility: Any D.Pharmacy /or/ B.Pharmacy /or/ M.Pharmacy with a valid registration as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in any State Pharmacy Council underPharmacy Act 1948.
Registration Fees: INR 2600/- only (It’s Life Time Payment)
CERTIFICATE OF MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION: After
successfull submission of online application form and payment towards the
registration fee, applicant received confirmatory SMS to the applicant mobile
number. After subsequent evaluation & verification by our registration team
the applicant will receive Registration Confirmatory SMS within 24 hours. On
immediate effect Registration Certificate soft copy in pdf will be send to the
applicant E-Mail ID.
Note: Because of Physical Damage with multiple
foldings by the Postal / Courier persons CPC stopped to dispatch Hard Copy of
Certificates.
RENEWAL: The registration is valid up to 5
years only from the date of registration. Registrations will be renew
automatically and new registration copy with updated dates will be send to the
members registered E-Mail ID's.
Renewal Fees: INR 0.0/- (Processing Charges Rs. 500/- only)
CANCELLATION OF MEMBERSHIP: By the death / On
requisition of Cancellation / By coming of unsound mind / By the violation of
Rules & Regulations / by not renewing the registration within 3 months from
end of the registration date.
However, Governing Body or Executive Committee may
condone any member and readmit him/her to the CPC registry.
